“I vostri dati non mi interessano!”
Questo è un blog personale che auto amministro (come la maggior parte dei miei connazionali non posso permettermi i costi e gli adempimenti delle numerose normative EU sul digitale e le moderne infrastrutture IT) e gira orgogliosamente (ed in maniera sicura-privata-confidenziale) su Linux in Self-hosting (così risparmio sui costi sempre più proibitivi di data centers e cloud) nel mio Home-Office su un vecchio PC IBM Pentium III degli inizi anni 2000 (acquistato alla fiera di interscambio Radiant di Milano), pertanto non è sempre raggiungibile (per manutenzione e/o perchè talvolta lo spengo la sera e nel week-end, per limitare i consumi elettrici; nel mentre sto sperimentando la migrazione ad una Raspberry Pi, futuribilmente da mettere sotto pannello fotovoltaico).

P.S. scrivo questi articoli tematici per condividere le mie precedenti esperienze lavorative (dal 1993) con le aziende (decise a reagire con forte spirito imprenditoriale all’attuale complessa congiuntura economica) che magari ritengono ancora utile e di valore la mia pregressa attività professionale internazionale (interrotta durante la pandemia) nel comparto service industriale (field/post-vendita)

I pochi dati funzionali sopra descritti e raccolti non sono condivisi con nessuno.
Siccome ci sono i furbetti che cercano di forzarmi l’accesso al profilo amministratore, sul PC gira un ottimo programma Open Source (Fail2Ban) che auto attiva-adatta il firewall in maniera mirata (pertanto se cercate di forzare l’accesso il vs. IP viene loggato e poi bannato).

“I’m not interested in your data!”
This is a personal blog that I manage myself (like most of my fellow countrymen, I cannot afford the costs and compliance requirements of the numerous EU digital regulations and modern IT infrastructures). It proudly runs (securely, privately, and confidentially) on Linux in a self-hosted setup (thus saving on the increasingly prohibitive costs of data centers and cloud services) in my home office, on an old IBM Pentium III PC from the early 2000s (purchased at the Radiant swap fair in Milan). Therefore, it is not always available (due to maintenance and/or because I sometimes turn it off in the evenings and on weekends to limit electricity consumption; in the meantime, I am experimenting with migrating to a Raspberry Pi, potentially to be powered by a photovoltaic panel in the future).
This blog is not a professional publishing activity nor a registered news outlet. The opinions expressed here are purely personal.
P.S. I write these thematic articles to share my previous work experience (since 1993) with companies (determined to respond with strong entrepreneurial spirit to the current complex economic situation) that may still consider my past international professional activity (interrupted during the pandemic) in the industrial service sector (field/after-sales) to be useful and valuable.

Since there are some people who attempt to force access to the administrator profile, the PC runs an excellent open-source program (Fail2Ban) that automatically activates and adjusts the firewall in a targeted way (therefore, if you attempt to force access, your IP will be logged and then banned).
